1990: The Bronx Warriors

In 1990, following some sort of apocalyptic event, the Bronx has officially been declared a “No Man’s Land.” The authorities have given up all attempts to restore law and order. When a beautiful young woman runs away from Manhattan into this wasteland of motorcycle gangs, marauding warriors and horrific ‘80s hard rock faux-leather fashion, her corrupt father sends a ruthless mercenary to bring her back at all costs. But pretty-boy teen gang leader Trash (rocking a post-apocalyptic headband and flowing Bon Jovi locks) develops a yen for the runaway, and he’s soon uniting the rival Bronx gangs (which include street hockey players on roller skates and what look like rejected cast members from an Off-Broadway production of A Chorus Line) to wage an explosive, all-out guerilla war against their corporate oppressors! Directed for maximum mayhem by Italian schlock master Enzo G. Castellari (The Inglorious Bastards), this wacked-out adventure stars Hollywood B-movie vets Vic Morrow (in his final film role) and Fred Williamson. (Dir. by Enzo G. Castellari, 1982, Italy, badly dubbed in English, 89 mins., Rated R)
