This screening will take place in Three Points, AZ at Robles Elementary School, 9875 South Sasabe Rd., Tucson, AZ 85736. Featuring an introduction by Sarah King, Community Outreach & Education Coordinator at the Altar Valley Conservation Alliance. Due to rain this screening will be indoors.

This screening is part of The Loft Cinema’s Rolling Reels series, a community-building program that takes carefully curated films for free screenings in underserved rural areas, providing a unique cultural experience. The movies will travel across Southern Arizona in The Loft Solar Cinema, a van outfitted with solar panels that will power a 20-foot inflatable screen and state-of-the-art mobile projection system. Made possible by a grant from Arizona Humanities.

Buck is an award-wining documentary which examines the life of Buck Brannaman, the ‘horse whisperer’, who grew up in the traveling entertainment industry, performing stunts with horses. Brannaman became a well-known expert in the interactions between horses and people and was the inspiration for Robert Redford’s film,The Horse Whisperer.
