‘Tis the season for a merry month of Ho-Ho-Holiday Classics presented under the stars at Open Air Cinema!

“The finest Christmas comedy of them all! National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation has few rivals for sheer, berserk laughs. An all-time classic.” – Time Out Film

No one knows how to do vacations like the Griswolds! Sure, their holidays are wild, chaotic and often fraught with peril, but whose family gatherings aren’t just a little bit stressful? As the holiday season approaches, Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase), the perpetual optimist with the world’s worst luck, wants to have the perfect family Christmas, and recruits his long-suffering wife Ellen (Beverly D’Angelo), and kids Rusty (Johnny Galecki) and Audrey (Juliette Lewis), into his tinsel-covered madness. After chopping down the biggest tree in the forest and hanging a million Christmas lights, the Griswold’s Winter Wonderland begins to fall apart with the unexpected arrival of Clark’s obnoxious cousin Eddie (Randy Quaid) and his family, who take us residence in their camper on the Griswold’s property. Soon, everything that can go wrong DOES go wrong, as the Griswold family careens from one hilarious holiday disaster to the next. Here’s hoping that the partridge in a pear tree can survive Christmas with the Griswolds! Written by John Hughes, this wacky third installment in the popular Vacation series has become one of the most beloved holiday comedies, and it’s even more fun than a lifetime membership to the Jelly of the Month Club! (Dir. by Jeremiah Chechik, 1989, USA, 97 mins., Rated PG-13)
