Local UofA film student Kyle Openshaw teams up with Icelandic filmmaker Telma Huld Jóhannesdóttir to raise awareness of the ongoing opioid overdose epidemic. This screening will showcase the directorial debut of both Openshaw’s Dancing Limbo and Jóhannesdóttir’s Icelandic People Believe in Elves. The full $10 cost of admission will be donated to Sonoran Prevention Works, the leading Arizona harm reduction organization. SPW will be in attendance, passing out free Naloxone (Narcan) as well as fentanyl testing strips and other harm reduction materials and information.
