The Loft Cinema is proud to present a unique and exciting opportunity to meet one of the world’s most prominent ballet dancers!

David Hallberg, the first American invited to be a principal dancer with the storied Bolshoi Ballet of Moscow, will appear at The Loft for a special “captured live” HD broadcast of Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty, his debut ballet with the Bolshoi. Hallberg will be on hand to talk with the audience and answer questions after the screening.

Hallberg joined the Bolshoi Ballet in 2011 – his debut ballet, Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty, was performed to great acclaim in November of that year.

Hallberg, originally from South Dakota, attended the Arizona Ballet School and the Arizona School for the Arts in Phoenix from 1997-1999. He joined the American Ballet Theater in 2000, becoming a principal dancer in 2005. (Sleeping Beauty Act II running time: approximately 80 mins.) Digital
