This FREE SCREENING will be held outdoors at TUCSON JEWISH COMMUNTY CENTER,  3800 E. River Road, Tucson, AZ,  85718, in the JCC Sculpture Garden.  Lawn seating – please bring your own seating/blanket.   Please note: in the event of inclement weather, this outdoor screening will be moved to an indoor venue nearby.

It’s Summer, 1963.  When Frances “Baby” Houseman (Jennifer Grey) travels to the Catskills with her family, it feels like she’s got a pretty dull summer vacation ahead of her. But there’s nothing dull about Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze), a local dance instructor who moves like no one Baby’s ever seen before. Despite her family’s objections to Baby “mixing with the hired help,” Baby just can’t help herself, and once she and Johnny start dirty dancing together, a spark is ignited that leads to one of the greatest movie romances of all-time! This screening is part of SOLAR CINEMA, a program that allows the community to enjoy a free screening of a film of their choosing! The Loft Cinema travels throughout Southern Arizona equipped with a cargo van outfitted with solar panels to power a 12 or 20-foot inflatable screen and state-of-the-art mobile projection system.
