CITY Center is bringing Dream Big to Tucson for a free screening at The Loft Cinema because the film is too important to miss. Dream Big was designed to be both visually engaging and inspiring to young people. It is a “must see” for everyone in the family!
Tables will be set up for event sponsors. The film starts at 7:00 pm, followed by the panel/audience conversation at 7:45 pm. Everyone will be on their way home, provoked and inspired – by 8:30 pm – a family film event indeed!
Featuring a post-film panel discussion including high school & college students, as well as professionals from the fields of design & engineering.
Narrated by Academy Award winner Jeff Bridges, Dream Big: Engineering Our World is a first of its kind film for IMAX® and giant screen theatres that will transform how we think about engineering. From the Great Wall of China and the world’s tallest buildings, to underwater robots, solar cars and smart, sustainable cities, Dream Big celebrates the human ingenuity behind engineering marvels big and small, and reveals the heart that drives engineers to create better lives for people around the world.
The public screening of an important/provocative education film has become an annual Fall event for CITY Center for Collaborative Learning after 200+ paying film viewers participated in last year’s screening of Most Likely to Succeed at The Loft Cinema. We are hoping to fill the theater this time around (doubling last year’s film viewers) with young people and their parents, teachers at all levels (pre-K through university), and anyone interested in the future of STEM fields and education.
Reserve your tickets at dreambig1024.eventbrite.com. This is a free event; however, online reservations are required. Thank you to our event co-sponsors who are helping bring the film to our community!
