General Education

With graduation coming up, Levi Collins (Chris Sheffield) is set to leave high school and attend the local University with a tennis scholarship in hand, but he forgot to tell his parents one important thing – he didn’t graduate. As a result, Levi’s Ferris Bueller-esque world of easy livin’ is about to come crashing down, and he must take summer school before his quirky mom (Janeane Garofalo) and his hard-to-please dad (Larry Miller) discover he’s failed senior science. At school, Levi gets by with a little help from his oddball friends as he maneuvers the rigors of class, college, tennis and Chad, his evil nemesis. To top it all off, our hero also falls in love with his beautiful classmate, Katie, and he soon realizes that he has to make a choice between playing tennis and receiving a proper education. General Education is a quirky coming-of-age comedy about a family learning to grow together.
