“The cops on this road don’t take you to jail … they take you to HELL!” A teen nerd must drive his hot rod straight into hell if he wants to save his girlfriend from becoming Satan’s bride in this dementedly demonic road trip extravaganza! Love-struck teenagers Charlie (Chad Lowe, Rob’s little brother) and Rachel (Kristy Swanson, the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer) are eloping to Las Vegas for their secret wedding. Unfortunately, standing in their way is a romantically-challenged Satan (here named “Beezie”), who has taken a shine to Rachel and thus sent his burnt-face Hell Cop (C.J. Graham, Jason from Jason Lives: Friday the 13 Part VI) to drag her down to Hades to be HIS bride. When Charlie follows on a rescue mission, he’s thrust into a freaky world of satanic bikers, cannibal women and a coffee shop where the food literally gets up and kills you. Naturally, it all boils down to a no-rules desert road race between Charlie and Hell Cop in which the winner takes all … including the loser’s soul! A crazed concoction of action, comedy and hellish horror, Highway to Hell also features Ben Stiller as Attila the Hun, rocker Lita Ford as a deadly hitchhiker and, for some reason, comedian Gilbert Gottfried as Adolf Hitler.
