This Open Air Cinema presentation will take place outdoors at The Loft Cinema, and seating is limited (sanitized chairs will be provided, or you can supply your own). The Loft Cinema adheres to all current health and safety guidelines. Social Distancing will be strictly enforced, and masks must be worn at all times (except when eating/drinking). Let’s have a fun, safe and unforgettable night at the movies, Open Air style!

For these Open Air Screenings we will be changing to 100% individual audio transmission. Earphones will be available for purchase at each screening (for $1 each), but we recommend that you bring your own WIRED earphones or headphones to maximize your viewing experience. For the 16th consecutive year, Shorts HD and Magnolia Pictures present the Oscar-Nominated Short Films! With all three categories offered – Live Action, Animated and Documentary – this is your annual chance to predict the winners (and have the edge in your Oscar pool)! A perennial hit with audiences around the country and the world (not to mention here at The Loft Cinema), don’t miss this year’s standout selection of stellar shorts!

After each screening, audience members will receive an “Oscar Shorts Prediction” ballot for that category via email – simply indicate which film you think will take home the gold on Oscar night, and all those who correctly guess the winning film in that category will be entered into a drawing for free movie passes to The Loft Cinema!Pass winners will be notified the week following the Oscar telecast on April 25.
