Bank of America, in association with the Tucson Juneteenth Festival Inc., African American Museum of Southern Arizona, and PBS, will present this series through short clips, with commentary by local historians, Dr. Johnny Bowens, Jack Anderson, Cherry Strong, Donna Liggins, Walter Hopkins, Yevette Sikes,and others. Discussing the ” Making of Black America”, and how it affected those in Tucson and surrounding areas. Join us in “Bringing Flowers” to the locals and “up and comers” that have been working diligently in the Black community to bring a better life for all. (Dir. by Shayla Harris and Stacey L.
