Holy Bad Movie! Mondo Mondays is paying tribute to TV’s original Batman, ADAM WEST, and you can bet things are going to get pretty batty!

“A memorable slice of ‘80s horror that makes for great popcorn viewing on a rainy night.” – DVD Drive-In

“A Night to Remember – Until the Day You Die!” A trio of teen girls is forced to spend the night in a spooky mausoleum as part of an initiation rite for a high school gang called “The Sisters,” and wouldn’t you know it, one of the mausoleum’s residents – a prune-faced, telekinetic cult leader named Raymar who can shoot lightning bolts from his face, control minds and fly through the air – returns from the dead to give them a hard time, leading to a highly memorable evening in the crypt. Featuring Adam “Batman” West, Meg Tilly as good girl Julie, E.G. Daily (“Dottie” from Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure) as bad girl Leslie, and a bunch of rotting, rampaging cadavers left over from Michael Jackson’s Thriller video, One Dark Night combines the haunted horror of Poltergeist with the teen angst of The Breakfast Club into a surprisingly creepy monster mash topped off with just the right amount of delicious ‘80s cheese. (Dir. by Tom McLoughlin, 1982, USA, 89 min., Rated PG)
