Smoking Causes Coughing

From the twisted mind of Quentin Dupieux (Rubber, Deerskin) comes this darkly absurdist superhero comedy that somehow manages to fit copious amounts of murder, mutilation and commentary on pollution into a scant 80 minutes.  A group of spandex-clad French superheroes called the “Tobacco Force,” sporting names like Ammonia, Nicotine, Methanol, and Mercury, have lost their team spirit. In order to refocus before their fight to save the world from impending doom at the hands of their nemesis Lézardin and his evil lizard henchmen, they head off for a week-long mountain retreat to reconnect as a crime-fighting team.
