The Miseducation of Cameron Post

When small town teenager Cameron Post (Chloë Grace Moretz, Let Me In) is caught with another girl in the back seat of a car on prom night, she is promptly shipped off to God’s Promise, a middle-of-nowhere treatment center run by the Nurse Ratched-esque Dr. Lydia Marsh (Jennifer Ehle, A Quiet Passion) and “success story” Reverend Rick (John Gallagher, Jr., Short Term 12), to undergo conversion therapy for “teens struggling with same-sex attraction.”

“A delight … generously peppered with biting humor and warmed by a generous spirit.” – Leslie Felperin, Hollywood Reporter

At God’s Promise, Cameron is subjected to outlandish disciplinary and “de-gaying” techniques, but through it all she manages to forge an unlikely community with her fellow outcasts, including the quietly defiant Jane Fonda (Sasha Lane, American Honey) and Adam Red Eagle (Forrest Goodluck, The Revenant). Together, these misfits must find a way to outwit their counselors and find the freedom to express their true selves. Winner of the Grand Jury Prize at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and based on the acclaimed novel of the same title, The Miseducation of Cameron Post is a funny, heartbreaking and inspiring coming-of-age drama filled with standout performances and unforgettable characters.
