“Are you alone in your house?”
After their mother passes away, sisters Nicole and Annie (Caity Lotz, star of Death Valley) reluctantly return to their childhood home to pay their last respects to the parent whom neither loved. Sleeping in her old bedroom, Annie senses something unfamiliar in the house, and the sisters begin to experience a mysterious, increasingly malevolent presence in their midst – noises startling them in the night, objects moving about, strange photos of their mother falling from the walls.
When Annie experiences a series of intense and disturbing dreams, she enlists the help of a local cop (played by Casper Van Dien, star of Starship Troopers) and a mysterious clairvoyant to answer some unanswered questions surrounding her mother’s death. As Annie’s long-repressed nightmares begin to physically manifest themselves as horrifying reality, and her childhood home starts to unveil its long-held secrets, the frightened but determined young woman prepares to uncover the terrible truth about her mother’s past – a truth that may ultimately destroy her.
