Presented by The Coalition for Sonoran Desert Protection

The Wild & Scenic Film Festival

The Coalition for Sonoran Desert Protection is proud to once again be hosting The Wild and Scenic Film Festival! This event is a collection of films from the annual festival held each January in Nevada City, CA. Wild & Scenic focuses on films which speak to the environmental concerns and celebrations of our planet.

This event will inspire the people of Tucson to go out and make a positive difference in our community. This year, films include “Our Canyon Lands” (about protecting the areas surrounding Canyonlands National Park), “Sagebrush Sisters” (follows three women along a pronghorn migration route by the Oregon/Nevada Border), “In Current” (explores rowing dories down the Colorado River), and many more including the Coalition’s own short film about protecting wildlife linkages in the Sonoran Desert.

We will have music, local conservation organizations tabling, and a fabulous raffle with unique items from local sponsors. We hope you can join us for this memorable and inspiring event! Visit for more information. (Dir. by Various, 2016, Approximately 115 mins., Not Rated)
