“You’ll Never Look at a Cat the Same Way Again!” When a poisonous mutant cat stows away on board a yacht headed for the Cayman Islands and proceeds to spread carnage and kitty litter over everyone on board, it leads to some of the most hilariously awful bad movie hijinks you’ve ever seen! In Uninvited, a mysterious research lab in Florida is the home of a seemingly harmless tabby who really isn’t all that innocent – it seems that this cute kitty has the power to transform itself into a highly poisonous, hideous mutant creature for no good reason (signal the gloriously goofy transformation scenes, which involve unconvincingly stiff puppets, visible wires and a serious lack of logic). Somehow the creepy critter hooks up with a group of gangsters and fun-loving college kids who are traveling on a party boat through the Caribbean, and all bad movie hell is about to break loose. Featuring some of the worst acting (including a Razzie-worthy turn by Oscar-winner George Kennedy, of The Naked Gun fame), cheapest special effects and all-around worst filmmaking to be seen in a direct-to-video horror flick from the 1980s, Uninvited is an unhinged, over-the-top crap-fest that really must be seen to be believed.
