Unwelcome

Londoners Maya and Jamie escape their urban nightmare to the tranquility of rural Ireland only to hear stories of malevolent, murderous goblins that lurk in the gnarled, ancient wood at the foot of their garden.  As warned by their new neighbors, according to Irish lore, these vicious creatures, called “Redcaps,” will come when called upon to help souls in dire need of rescue, but the terrorized couple will soon come to realize that there is a very high price to pay for their aid.  A fun and frightening slice of folkloric horror filled with wild practical SFX, Unwelcome is a glimmering Irish fairytale gone horribly wrong, directed by Irish-born filmmaker Jon Wright (Grabbers) and starring Hannah John-Kamen (Ant-Man and the Wasp) and Douglas Booth (Pride and Prejudice and Zombies).
