How was my membership affected by COVID?
Membership Extensions: All memberships were extended up to 7 months in October 2020. If you would like to waive the 7-month extension, please email [email protected]. If you renew before the conclusion of your extension period, we will waive any remaining extended months.
Member Pass Expiration Date Extensions: All Member Passes with an Expiration Date of April 30, 2020 through December 31, 2021 will be valid through April 30, 2022.
How do I use member passes? (There are 3 Ways to use your Member Pass)
- Redeem your Member Pass at the theatre for any regularly scheduled film with available seats. Please visit www.loftcinema.org to see which films accept Member Passes. Member Passes cannot be redeemed online. When you arrive, ask staff if there are seats available for Member Pass use.
- Or redeem your Member Pass at the concession stand for a Medium Popcorn/Drink combo.
- Or enter any Member Pass that expires in 2020 or 2021 in our Member Pass Raffles for a chance to win a free private theatre rental.
How can I purchase a membership? You can easily purchase a membership online here. Student, Teacher, and Military memberships will be available for purchase online. If you have purchased a Student, Teacher, or Military membership, you may be asked to show a current picture ID at the theatre.
When do I get my membership card? Anyone who purchases a membership will receive their membership card within approximately 2 weeks.
Can I give a membership as a gift? Yes! You can purchase a gift membership online here.
Can I transfer my membership to another party or obtain a refund? Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
How do I renew my membership? You can renew your membership here.
What happens if I renew early? An additional year will be added to your membership, with no time lost. Your renewal date will advance 1 calendar year from your most recent renewal date.
I just joined online. How soon can I use my membership? Right away! When you renew online you will be emailed a receipt. Until you receive your membership materials, bring your receipt to the box office to receive member benefits.
How can I check my membership renewal date? Your renewal date is listed on your membership letter. You can also ask at the box office or email [email protected].
I lost my membership card. How do I get a replacement? Ask at the box office or email [email protected].
Is my membership gift tax-deductible? The Loft Cinema estimates the fair market value of membership benefits and considers the amounts below to be a good guideline for determining the tax-deductible portion of your membership dues. It is important to consult with your tax professional when making final determinations.
At what levels are installment payments available? Installment payments are available online only at the Director Circle level and above.
How can I support The Loft Cinema with donor advised funds? Although we cannot provide membership benefits for a contribution from donor advised funds, we are happy to accept unrestricted donations via donor advised funds. Please direct funds to:
