The Switchblade Sisters are coming!”  Please meet the all-female Dagger Debs gang– slick chicks who are looking for love and fighting for turf on the mean streets of the big bad city! From exploitation legend Jack Hill (Spider Baby, Foxy Brown), Switchblade Sisters is the outlandish, action-packed, totally bonkers story (loosely … VERY loosely … based on Shakespeare’s Othello) of a tough gang of teen girls who just can’t keep out of trouble. Bad girls to the core, these impossibly outrageous high school hoodlums go where they want, and create mayhem wherever they go. The Dagger Debs rumble just a hard as any man, but one day, Dagger leader Lace (Robbie Lee, in a demonically-possessed performance that must be seen to be believed) meets her match in Maggie, the new kid in town who won’t back down.  Soon they’re fighting over the same guy, and as if that’s not bad enough, the Debs must soon join forces with a group of militant female revolutionaries to defend their turf against a rival male gang! And soon WE’RE treated to such un-lady like action as nasty chain-and-switchblade fights, a machine-gun shoot-out at a roller rink, and even an all-out street war fueled by a homemade battle tank! Throw in sex, drug-dealing, a women’s prison, some awkward romance and a whole lot of gratuitous violence, explosions and tongue-in-cheek humor, and you’ve got yourself a stone cold grindhouse classic!
