Mihail is a curator for a private art collection. Originally from Bulgaria, he settled in Canada with his daughter Roza almost 30 years ago. Over the years, their origin story has become a taboo at home…until the Mihail is asked to investigate the case of an 8-year-old Bulgarian girl who may be a painter prodigy. He must return to his homeland and his past and confront the emotional cost of their uprooting.
Directed by Genevieve Dulude De-Celles, 2026, France, in French with English subtitles, 103 minutes, NR
