Femme Frontera is a Latinx-led film organization made up of, and founded by, women and non-binary filmmakers from the U.S.-Mexico border region, amplifying films made by women and non-binary artists from border regions around the world. The Femme Frontera Filmmaker Showcase celebrates powerful short films whose stories challenge perceptions about women, border communities, immigrants, people of color, the LBGTQ+ community, and other underrepresented communities.

Homesick: A modern-day tale of two star-crossed lovers, separated by a global pandemic and the U.S.-Mexico Border. (Dir. by Valeria Contreras, 2022, USA, Not Rated)
