It’s big! It’s hairy! And it’s out of control! It’s BIGFOOT MONTH at Mondo Mondays, featuring a Sasquatch-sized collection of nutty flicks starring everyone’s favorite missing link!

“We’ve hunted it for decades … But now, its decided to hunt us!” It’s time for “Rear Window meets Grizzly” when a wheelchair-bound peeping tom tries to save a cabin-full of sorority girls from a hungry Bigfoot running amuck in the woods in this entertainingly gruesome monster movie throwback featuring genre faves Lance Henriksen (Aliens), Jeffrey Combs (Re-Animator) and Dee Wallace (Cujo)!

“Splattery fun that indulges in glorious, man-in-a-fur-suit bigfoot butchery … a reminder that great, gory creature features don’t have to be as rare as a Bigfoot sighting.” – Oh, the Horror!

Months after losing his wife in a tragic climbing accident, wheelchair-bound Paul Rogers (Matt McCoy, The Hand That Rocks the Cradle) returns to a cabin near the scene of the incident, looking for some peace and quiet. But when a bevy of frolicking young women takes up residence in the cabin next door, Preston can’t help but bust out the binoculars and take a peek, only to see one of the women being abducted by a “big-hairy-something” that lurks in the woods.  Soon, he’s on a frantic quest to convince somebody – anybody – that the rest of the women are in danger.  But will anyone believe him?  Or will they just think he’s a perverted Alfred Hitchcock fan with a Bigfoot fetish? What ensues is freaky, fast-paced fun, filled with gore, nudity, suspense and a seriously weird-looking Bigfoot with a thing for biting people’s faces off (thanks to some splendidly splattery practical effects). Why, it’s all completely Abominable! (Dir. by Ryan Schifrin, 2006, USA, 94 min., Rated R)
