Night of the Comet

“They Came. They Shopped. They Saved the World.”  It’s the end of the world as we know it, and not everyone is feeling fine, in this, like, totally awesome ‘80s sci-fi/comedy/horror blast that takes it to the max! When teen sisters Regina (Catherine Mary Stewart, The Last Starfighter) and Samantha (Kelli Maroney, Chopping Mall), a pair of totally bitchin’ L.A. Valley Girls, somehow manage to survive the comet-fueled apocalypse, they do what anyone in their situation would do – they go on a shopping spree in the newly-deserted city, no credit cards required! Girls just wanna have fun, but when it turns out they may not be alone, their day of goofy malling threatens to become a day of grody mauling, and our heroines are forced to arm themselves with machine guns, pom-poms and other assorted weaponry to fight off killer comet creepazoids, evil scientists (including Mary Woronov!) and even a few tasty bad boys with bad intentions.
