The Day Time Ended

Showtimes
MONDAY, JULY 23 AT 8:00PM | GENERAL ADMISSION: $3 • LOFT MEMBERS: $2

Mark your calendars, because July is TRASHY TIME TRAVEL month at Mondo Mondays, featuring an endless array of time-tripping B-movies that will take you back to the future … and beyond!

“Their lives became a living hell … when past, present and future collided!” A family moves from the big city into a futuristic solar home in the middle of the desert, only to find that their peaceful, rural utopian lifestyle also comes equipped with a stupid cosmic time vortex that constantly spits out obnoxious aliens, prehistoric monsters and humanoid replicants to terrorize them and make them wish they had gotten a better real estate agent.

“Pure, low-budget sci-fi fun.”- Silver Emulsion Reviews

Starring Jim Davis (Jock Ewing from TV’s Dallas), Oscar-winner Dorothy Malone (Written on the Wind), and Chris Mitchum (Robert Mitchum’s slightly less-prestigious son), The Day Time Ended is a hilariously low-rent, family-friendly ‘70s sci-fi extravaganza set in the Southern California desert that plays like a sunburned cross between Close Encounters and Land of the Lost, filled with Brady Bunch-esque dialogue, groovy disco-era fashion, and enough stop-motion animation, sparkly special effects and terrible acting to please even the most hardcore bad movie fan. From the director of Kingdom of the Spiders and Mutant! (Dir. by John “Bud” Cardos, 1979, USA, 79 mins., Rated PG)
