Flashback to a time of rubber monsters and unhinged lunacy at MONDO ’86, featuring 40th anniversary screenings of some of 1986’s wildest and most Mondo-riffic horror flicks that made the decade, like, totally awesome!

“The First Kiss Could Be Your Last!” There are very few certainties in life, but rest assured that when ‘80s frat dudes battle vampire strippers ruled by Grace Jones, you can be certain it’s going to be Mondo Movie gold. In Vamp, horny fraternity pledges Keith (Chris Makepeace, Meatballs) and AJ (Robert Rusler, Weird Science) are tasked with finding some “hot strippers” for their kegger blowout. So naturally, they hook up with a super nerd (Gedde Watanabe, aka “Long Duck Dong” from Sixteen Candles) and head to the seedy side of town in search of dancers, where they stumble upon a sinister dump called The After Dark Club. But when the bar’s luscious booty shakers turn out to be bloodthirsty vampires led by the kinky Katrina (played by the kinky singer/actress/model Grace Jones, here sporting kabuki make-up and hot plates on her chest), the evening takes a very freaky turn. Can the dudes survive a bizarre onslaught of vixens and vamps, or will the armies of the dancing undead take them straight to hell? A VERY ‘80s mix of teen sex comedy, gruesome horror and demented music video (featuring one of the strangest strip teases in movie history, courtesy of the notorious Miss Jones, sporting Keith Haring-designed body paint and a Bozo-red fright wig), Vamp is a surprisingly effective, enjoyably cheesy hunk of exploitation junk from New World Pictures.
